Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern, evidence-based approach which uses practical and well-researched strategies to help people make significant, positive changes in their lives in a relatively short amount of time. We will focus on what you want to achieve rather than the problem(s) that prompted you to seek change

SF approach focuses on the present and the future and not on the past. I ask my client’s to consider their preferred future, for instance, what would be better if the problem had improved? What would have changed?  This enables the client’s possible solutions to become more apparent and worked towards.

Hypnosis is so simple yet so effective! It’s that daydreamy, trance, state that we go in and out of all the time. Have you ever experienced reading a book and getting to the end of the chapter and realising that you haven’t actually read a word. Or you’ve pulled up to the carpark at work but couldn’t remember the drive there. You were simply daydreaming or in a ‘trance’. When we are in this state, we can access the subconscious mind which holds all of our beliefs, fears and past experiences. During ‘hypnosis’, you are completely aware of whats going on around you and its an incredibly relaxing process in which we use visualisation and positive affirmations to shift perspective, reframe thought patterns and eradicate fears & self limiting beliefs.

Hypnotherapy for women’s health uses guided relaxation and focused attention to ease physical and emotional challenges from hormonal changes, stress, and related mental health issues. It promotes deep relaxation, helps explore thoughts and feelings tied to menstruation, menopause, and other hormonal events, and strengthens coping with mood swings, anxiety, fatigue, and discomfort. This approach supports hormonal balance and overall well-being, improving quality of life..

A typical session.

A typical session consists of a few things. Firstly, we focus on all the good things you’ve experienced over the past week, considering everything big or small. We go over how the brain works and the reasons why you may be experiencing certain difficulties in your life and what you can do to improve them. We explore how you are feeling at present and look at any goals you would like to work towards that will improve the way you feel. Then, we go onto the ‘hypnosis’ part. You can either lie on a couch or sit comfortably in a chair and simply relax into the sensations of the calming music playing in the background whilst I gently guide you into a mediative state, using visualisation and positive affirmations.
